Rock Climbing
Have you always wanted to have a go? Or you love the indoor wall and want to see what the outdoor experience is like?
Rock Climbing is commonly percieved as an adrenelin sport, but it's not! It's a slow and methodical progression onwards and upwards in dramatic and breathtaking locations. It's a balance of the head just as much as physical ability. And on a sunny day, sitting at the top of your climb, looking down onto the world below - nothing beats it!
From trying it for the first time to leading a multi-pitch route up in the mountains, get in touch and we can plan a course to meet your needs.
Hillwalking
Whether you need to brush up on your navigation skills in the hills, or you want to learn to use map and compass, or maybe you want to see how to the most ethical wild campcraft. North Wales has a stunning range of mountains, incredibly varied for it's relatively small size. I can take you out into the hills and get you where you want to be as a hillwalker.
Scrambling
Snowdonia is famous for it's impressive rocky ridges, among them Crib Coch on Snowdon, Tryfan's North Ridge, as well as many more. This is terrain beyond hillwalking, where you need to know how to move over rocky exposed ground, you need the basic skills to protect yourself with a rope, and make the right choices for the route. I can help you progress these skills, whatever level you are currently at, and open up great opportunites at the next level.
Everyone's ability and experience is different, please get in touch to discuss further options for the courses you would like.
If you are not too sure, have a look at the next page on guiding and how I can help make the best of your time in North Wales.
